First thing in the morning, just after morning greetings and a short grounding playtime, it’s time to get our dance on! Morning circle consists of several Get Up and Moving songs that our class loves to move and sway to! Whether following dance moves embedded in a song, or making up their own routine, dance and movement is a terrific way for our little learners to connect action and movement with vocabulary building, sentence structuring and memory boosting!
Their favorite songs these days review counting, numbers, alphabet, weather, days of the week, seasons, swimming, feeling words, and theme work. It is incredible to watch our little learners devour new content and new learning with the introduction of each new song. It’s a kindergarten karaoke celebration centered around fun and learning! What a perfect way to start the day by simply ROCKIN' OUT!
