A mantra that runs through our teachers' minds is "Soil, Sand, Water, Grass" and how to get the kids interacting with these things on a daily basis. Oisca Park, our own private 1000 square meter playground, provides us ample opportunity to do so. The large expanse has grass to run through, a large sandbox, hills to climb and slide down, as well as the usual playground classics, like a slide and monkey bars.
One of the main features is "The River." Although not as mighty as the Yellow River in China or the Amazon in Brazil, this river provides our students a chance to get wet and explore the properties of running water and the possibilities of messy play. The kids love it and provides a constant source of excitement and firing up of their imaginations. Come take a river walk with us!
