In March, our Year 1 Year 2 class had a graduation ceremony for some of its members. It's always bittersweet to say farewell but we held a nice little ceremony for them, complete with warm speeches from their teachers and original poetry from the graduating students.
To top it all, the teachers decided to create a permanent piece of art that would incorporate all students of the class. They drew their silhouettes and had the students work on the piece together during their last month at school. The class created a lovely piece of art that will hang on the school walls forever. So although we may say "farewell' to them, they are staying with us in a sense.
