It's Easy as 1-2-3!

Counting is part of OISCA’s preschoolers’ everyday life. They count when they go up and down the stairs, count fish in the aquarium, shoes on the shelves, and ants on the ground or turtles in the pond. Numeracy is the ability to recognize and apply math concepts in all areas of life.

The children learn how to recognize numbers in the corn sensory bin and try to match a correct quantity of macaroni in each number. During this activity they play, they learn, they mess, and they got wrong counting, they laugh and tried again. The sure thing is the children had fun with numbers!
