Friendship

In kindergarten, children start to play with others and form their friendships with

one another. They build their relationships with their friends and teachers.

We provide opportunities to for children to experience all aspects of friendships,

this is important to their overall learning and development. Sometimes children

who are shy and quiet may find it hard to interact and be friendly with others, as

educators we can be role models and encourage them the right ways to mingle with

others. Here at OISCA we focus a lot on team building exercises and activities.

This encourages them to share ideas, communicate, help one another, and create a

friendly environment. This also helps with their patience, communication, and

social skills.

Most of the children get excited to go to school because they want to meet their

friends, this boots happiness, self-confidence and promotes a positive outlook on

school life.
