The K2 students used the Art room to learn more about shadows, as September’s theme is "Light and Dark." Using the projector, the students took turns experimenting with using different everyday objects and casting a shadow. The students were able to see that the shapes of the shadows would change as they tuned the focus knob. Making the shadows from small to large and large to small. They also had fun tracing the shapes of the shadows on the large easel.
On the other side of the room, other students tested out the light table. Fully concentrated on the task at hand, the student slowly and carefully traced the lines of a tree painting. Another student decided to also join the fun and use the leaves and stars sequins as a stencil to trace their pattern.
