This year we had a few activities to celebrate the Songkran Holiday. Parents and students were lead through a flower necklace making class by our Thai teacher, Teacher Yui. Children practiced their communication and fine motor skills in putting together their natural works of art.
Students then had the traditionally ceremony of paying respect and the pouring of water for Buddha.
Of course, no Songkran would be complete without the fun of water play. Water gun fights and a water slide were great ways to cool down while having fun.
After all that work, the much needed refreshing ice cream really hit the spot!
